Safety

Contrary to some assumptions, Autocycles are relatively safe modes of transportation. Unfortunately, they are often compared to motorcycles when it comes to safety. Such comparisons are unjustified:

All Autocycles have seat belt restrain systems, motorcycles do not.
Most all utilize energy absorbing designs to mitigate injury in collisions. Motorcycles don’t.
Most, if not all, have roof structures meeting or roll hoops to protect occupants in rollover accidents.
The “tadpole” design of two wheels in front and one in the rear provides a stable driving platform with driving characteristics similar to automobiles.
Low center of gravity which significantly reduces the chance of rollover.
Many include stability control equipment for improved handling.
Generally higher visibility when compared to motorcycles.
Single braking system applies braking to all wheels instead of separate front and rear braking like motorcycles.
